I’m here to help you get the most out of your day.

Most small business owners don’t have a lot of free time on their hands, so it isn’t always easy to balance running a business with creating engaging content which increases brand awareness, generates leads and delights customers. That’s where I come in. I can help save you the time and energy creating content which engages clients — both new and old — so that you don’t have to. Because at the end of the day, you want to be focusing on the services you provide, right?!

 A bit about me…

I THRIVE ON building strong client relationships, HARD WORK AND FINDING SUCCESS IN THE SMALL THINGS.

When I started my freelancing journey, I faced the age-old question that every small business owner in the copywriting industry faces: “how do I get my name out there and find clients?!”. So, I started experimenting and taking risks.

At first, I found the prospect of posting on LinkedIn daunting. I mean, who doesn’t when they first begin to post? You can often worry about what your colleagues, your friends and even what your family might think. But I wanted to make my career choice work.

In January 2022, that’s when everything changed for me. After following the advice of many LinkedIn “gurus”, I started to build a personal brand on LinkedIn and in one year gained 7k followers. This hands-down kickstarted my career as my first clients saw my posts and approached ME for work.

As a result of this experience, I’ve learned first-hand just how vital social media like LinkedIn is for founders and entrepreneurs. Yet, I’ve also how time-consuming creating content can be. It can be so easy for marketing to fall to the bottom of your priority list when you’re a small company.

That’s why I do what I do, because I want to support purpose-led brands just like you to shine and show the world your magic!

Word of mouth can get you so far, but if you’re looking to expand your reach and find new opportunities, there’s no doubt that content marketing combined with a strong social media profile can help you to unlock new doors.

I help small, purpose-led businesses grow their their reach by working together on building a social media strategy and using content marketing to provide value to prospective clients.

People no longer want to be sold to, they want to get to know YOU and how you can help them achieve the results they want! And the key to that is effective content marketing.

 My values and ethics

Empathetic - honest - thoughtful - open-minded - Respectful

I believe the practice of copywriting comes with the responsibility to put the person before the sale, and to take a stand against unethical marketing practices.

At some point or another, we’ve all succumbed to manipulative marketing tactics like false scarcity, lead magnets (with the sole purpose of bombarding you with loads of emails!) and even been duped to what’s known as “woke washing”.

I think as copywriters, we have a duty to respect the other person at the end of our communications. I think this is where the future of marketing is heading.

This is why I’ve committed to the Ethical Move.

Their purpose is to uncover the gray area of manipulation in marketing through shared knowledge and conversation, and to hold marketers accountable.

The way we sell matters. I want to help other small businesses that embody these core set of values.

My ethical marketing pledge:

I put the person before the sale.

I respect you and your privacy. I will help you make the best choice for your needs, not mine.

I communicate inclusively, truthfully, and clearly.

I will not confuse you or hide information from you. I will help all audiences feel welcome.

I take responsibility for my part in changing the marketplace.

I recognize the need to break the cycle of consumerism. I will continuously review my sales and marketing to ensure they benefit the common good.

I count on you to hold me accountable. Please contact me if you see me not honouring my pledge.

 Are we a good fit?

Let’s work together
